From nation-states to global capitalism

Beginning on July 21, the Center for Global Politics at Freie Universität Berlin again offers the opportunity to enroll in “Stand-alone Modules”. These allow students and professionals to develop research skills and in-depth knowledge in an area of particular interest, such as the history of the nation-state, Conflict Management and Reconciliation, Global Flows of Capital and Finance and Comparative Area Studies.  

Stand-alone Modules are taught online and a great opportunity to combine work and study. Students also have the chance to meet their peers and professors in a non-obligatory in-house class in Berlin.

The credit points from our Stand-alone Modules will count towards a university degree. Simply choose the ones that suit your professional and educational needs.
