Masters Level - Stand Alone Courses and Modules
The Center for Global Politics at Freie Universität Berlin offers you a broad range of Masters Level Stand-alone Modules in the field of global politics. These Single Courses allow students and professionals to develop research skills and in-depth knowledge in an area of particular interest; be it to simply broaden your horizon, to progress at work, or to change your career path.
The Stand-alone Modules can be completed separately from the International Relations Online Masters program. Taught online, they are a great opportunity to combine work and study. You also have the chance to meet your peers and professors in a non-obligatory in-house class in Berlin.
You can study the modules for a specific period of time and the credit points will count towards a university degree. Simply choose the ones that suit your professional and educational needs.

Register for one of the modules now.
- For one stand-alone module, the tuition fee is 135 € per ECTS, plus an administrative charge of 50 €.
- For each additional stand-alone module you will receive a 20 percent discount.
- Members of the “CGP Alumni e.V.” receive a 25 percent discount on the first stand-alone module and a 35 percent discount for each additional module.

- Curriculum vitae (in English)
- First university degree certificate (B.A., M.A., Diploma, state examination etc.).
- Letter of motivation (up to 500 words, in English)
- If English is not your native language, a language certificate verifying English proficiency* is required (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent).
