Policy Issues: Conflict Management and Reconciliation


Patricia A. Maulden is Professor of Conflict Resolution and Director of the Dialoge and Difference Project with the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University. She was born in Los Angeles, California, and earned a BA in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She received her MSc and her PhD in Conflict Analysis&Resolution from George Mason University. Currently, she is investigating the dynamics of NGOs as private peace-building contractors and their roles in the post-conflict peace economy. She explores the post-conflict paradox and looks into peace-building over time, more specifically the trajectories of post-conflict knowledge.
