Changing Global Landscapes: Globalization Challenges

Erin K. Wilson is a researcher at the Global Cities Institute and Globalism Research Centre at RMIT University. She was awarded a PhD from the University of Queensland in March 2008. Her PhD examined the complex relationship that exists between religion and politics in the West, which is frequently overlooked or simplified by assumptions of secularism. Erin has tutored and lectured in a number of subjects in IR at both undergraduate and master's level and was awarded the 2006 Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences Teaching Award for Excellence in tutoring. She has coordinated a number of conferences on various topics including human rights, global justice, cosmopolitan democracy and non-Western approaches to conflict resolution in the context of the war on terror.
